Meet Our Directors and Choreographers

Miss Erica Campione-Oliveira (Director/Choreographer)

Miss Erica's dance journey began at the tender age of three. With over three decades of dance experience, her heart beats to the rhythm of Tap and Hip-Hop. By 14, she was already assisting with choreography, and at 16, she took the stage as a solo teacher and choreographer.
 
​For 15 years, Miss Erica honed her craft at Miss Donna’s Academy of Dance in Elizabeth, NJ, focusing on Tap and Jazz. She expanded her repertoire, dedicating five years to mastering Tap, Hip-Hop, and Jazz at Dance Elevations in Linden, NJ, even joining the teaching staff from 1997 to 2001.
 
Miss Erica's passion for the arts didn't stop at dance. She majored in "Display and Exhibit" and "Graphics" at the Fashion Institute of Technology in NYC, where she graduated with an Associates degree in 2002. That same year, she realized her dream by founding Planet Dance. Today, she serves as Planet Dance's graphic designer and is the creative force behind "Back Stage Dancewear," her own dance brand. In 2010, she earned her dance certification, followed by her ZUMBA certification in April 2012.

Miss Gina Campione-Robel 
​​(Director/Choreographer)

Miss Gina's dance journey commenced at the age of three. With a remarkable 15-year dance background at Miss Donna’s Academy of Dance in Elizabeth, NJ, she mastered the art of Ballet, Tap, and Jazz. Additionally, she dedicated five years to the enchanting world of Flamenco.
Her passion for dance led her to teach at Miss Donna's Academy from 1995 to 2002. She continued her journey by delving into Tap, Hip-Hop, and Lyrical at Dance Elevations in Linden, NJ, where she also contributed as part of the teaching staff from 1997 to 2001.
Miss Gina's choreographic talents extended beyond the studio as she lent her skills to the Linden High School Marching Band Color guard from 1998 to 2000. In August 2002, she fulfilled her dream by establishing Planet Dance, where she currently serves as the director. In 2010, she earned her certification in dance, further enriching her dance expertise.

Mr. Devin Santiago (Choreographer)

Devin Santiago has been an integral part of the Planet Dance family since its inception in 2001. Joining as an enthusiastic member, he began teaching at Planet Dance in 2009, where he established his very first all-boys dance class. Over time, Devin's teaching spanned various dance genres, with a particular emphasis on Commercial Hip-Hop and Street Jazz. His unique and vibrant style resonated well with students, making him a beloved figure in the dance community.
In 2019, Devin ventured onto TikTok, marking a turning point in his career. Through the platform, he swiftly garnered a dedicated following by creating and sharing viral dance content. His dances, often infused with his signature flair, captivated millions of viewers and brought him collaborations with esteemed brands such as A&E, Sony Music, Panera, and State Farm. Beyond his online presence, Devin's talents shone on a grander stage as he graced NBC's "Dancing With Myself," where he showcased his skills to judges Shakira, Nick Jonas, and Liza Koshy. His dynamic journey led him to choreograph for M&M's and attain the status of a Featured Creator at VidCon. Having recently graduated from Rutgers University - Newark with a degree in Video Production, Devin envisions merging his prowess as a Professional Dancer with his video editing skills, crafting captivating dance visuals for recording artists and continuing to inspire the world of dance and entertainment.

Miss Nicole Davis (Choreographer)

Nicole Fox Davis is proud NJ native and alumnus from Penn State University. Miss Nicole is found in studios where she teaches, but within the industry a name that has stuck and has been grown to love is her nickname Fox. Fox assists, directs, teaches, and choreographs all over the country. She is a NY based dancer who enjoys choreographing and performing in upcoming tristate musician’s music videos and live performances, as well as choreographing music videos and content. She is part of the choreography touring company, Liberate Artists, where she travels and teaches workshops, masterclasses across the nation with names such as Phil Wright, Eva Igo, Miles Keeny, and Lauren Froderman. Though Fox is usually seen teaching hip hop and lyrical, you can find her in AM Ballet and heels classes at night all in the heart of NYC. Fox has started her own production company, The Fox Den where she screen-writes, directs, and choreographs pieces and short films. Now, back as a performer, Fox credits in 2023 alone includes works by, and for, JerryCurls, Sheen Jamal, BreezyLyn, Kelly Peters, Liberate Artists, Boundary Issues Media, as well as teaching in multiple studios, colleges/universities, pop ups, and choreographing for her own Short Film, Art On My Sleeve. Fox’s life motto is, “Never let the dreams you had as child be forgotten, you have more time than you think”

Miss Jen Van Anden (Choreographer)

Miss Jen has been dancing since she was five years old. She studied tap, ballet, pointe, and jazz at Miss Donna's Academy of Dance in Elizabeth, NJ along with Miss Gina and Miss Erica. She was part of the Planet Dance teaching staff during its first year in 2002 and has been teaching on and off ever since. This year, Miss Jen is teaching an advanced jazz class and a weekly, drop-in style tap class.  She will also be guest-choreographing a lyrical routine in Miss Gina's advanced lyrical class.
